It's dropping off me!


Last night I got my 2stone award and my Club 10 award (for losing 10% of my body weight!)

I lost 6½lbs at the weigh-in this week! That's taking me to 2st.0½lbs (or 28½lbs) in just 7 weeks!!
To say I was happy, would have been an understatement!

As you may know, I'm following Slimming World's Food Optimising plan. It's full of free food, Healthy Extras, and Syns (well, everyone has to have a little bit of what they like!) And it really works! I cook everything from scratch anyway, so it's easy to make family meals, and it's good wholesome food, that's healthy for us all!

I'm also exercising - The bike has been out many times, and I tend to cycle between 8 and 16 miles, depending on whether I'm alone or if the baby is with me in his seat on the back. He gets bored so an hour is all I can do when he's with me, but if I'm on my own, I can go for miles! I have found a new love too, the Gym! A few months ago, "Gym" was just a man's name! But I love it now, going 3 or 4 times a week.

I still have a way to go, but I'm certainly getting there!

1stone 7pounds down...... 4 stone to go!

I weighed in last night, and have lost 5lbs this week!!!
So that's 1st 7lbs in just 5 weeks!!!

I'm absolutely amazed!!!
I can see the difference now, and that difference is expensive!
I had to buy a new pair of trousers today (in a size 14 instead of 18!) So even though it's costing me money, I'm really happy about it!

I need to raid the charity shops for some slimming clothes (to keep me going while I'm slimming!)

Well on my way now, and got so much more energy now!
Tomorrow's plan is for the gym. I may even cycle there, if the weather is fair!

My Slimming World Tiramisu Recipe:

Hello! I'm back!
Just thought I would say a quick "hi" to everyone before I share my recipe for my favourite dessert, Tiramisu. I'd gained a bit more weight, and finally re-joined Slimming World, and now, 4 weeks in, I'm 16lbs lighter......

11 Sponge Fingers (11 syns)
half cup sweetened strong black coffee
(granulated sweetener)
half teaspoon orange essence
1 tub quark
half tub fat free fromage frais
half teaspoon vanilla essence
1 rounded teaspoon cocoa powder (1 syn)

Arrange sponge fingers in serving dish. Soak with black coffee and orange essence. Refridgerate until cold. Blend quark, fromage frais, vanilla essence and 1 tablespoon sweetener together and spread over sponge fingers. Sift cocoa powder over the top and serve.

Serves 6
(12 syns per recipe)

Syns per serving: 2 syns 2 syns 2 syns

Alternative: Add sliced bananas, before topping with quark mixture.
